Estimates are planning guidance

Yardage figures are planning estimates for average-size projects and typical gauges, drawn from standard craft references. Your gauge, stitch pattern, and finished size change the numbers. Always check your pattern's yardage, buy an extra skein, and confirm dye lots match before starting a large project. We are not liable for yarn shortages, over-purchases, or project outcomes.

Acceptable use

Use the calculator and content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't scrape the site aggressively, attempt to disrupt it, or republish our charts and guides as your own.

Intellectual property

Site design, copy, and photography are ours (or licensed to us). Project yardage data is compiled from public craft references; the presentation is original.

Advertising

We display third-party ads to keep the service free. Ad content is the responsibility of the advertisers.
